Founder | Pierre Anthony Cohen Aknine


1994


  • Founded Pierre Ltd, named after himself, establishing Korea's first premium cigar distribution network.

1996


  • Signed an official agreement with the Cuban government, securing exclusive import and distribution rights for Cuban cigars.


1998


  • The first cigar bar in South Korea, "The Havana & Cigar Divan"  opened at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, pioneering and promoting cigar culture in the country.

2001


  • Formed a partnership with Habanos SA's official franchise network, La Casa del Habano and Cigar Divan.

2002

  • The first exclusive "Seoul Cigar Club" was opened on Namsan hill, and offers the members a genuine cigar break in a dedicated space.

2004


  • Recognized as an official 'Habanos Specialist' retailer by Habanos SA

2008


  • Opened a store in Lotte Duty Free at Incheon International Airport, expanding global cigar distribution channels.

2013


  • Recognized as an official 'Habanos Specialist' retailer by Habanos SA

2015



  • Collaboration with KT&G. "Bohem Cigar Master Cuban Jazz" Limited edition cigarette released.

2022

  • Pierre Ltd's visionary founder, passed away in September 2022.
    He was not just a businessman but a pioneer of Korea's cigar culture.
    Pierre Ltd remains committed to preserving his legacy by strengthening global partnerships and expanding the reach of premium cigars.
