The Cigar Academy (TCA) is the Premium Cigar Association’s global education and certification platform,
created to preserve and pass on generations of premium cigar knowledge through structured, internationally recognized education.
Developed with leading cigar makers, retailers and industry specialists,
TCA covers the complete cigar journey — from tobacco cultivation and fermentation to construction,
storage, service, sensory appreciation, history and culture.
Co-founded in 2024 by Ricardo Carioni and Thomas Gryson, TCA combines expert-led teaching, digital learning, assessments and formal certification.
Today, it serves cigar professionals, retailers, hospitality teams, distributors and adult aficionados across multiple markets.
For Korea, Ricardo Carioni will personally lead both Seoul sessions,
giving participants the opportunity to learn,
taste and discuss premium cigars directly with one of the Academy’s founders.
Upon successful completion,
participants will receive formal certification from The Cigar Academy by PCA.
